PLA, or Polylactic Acid, is a commonly used thermoplastic material that does not require the use of a heated print bed. Blending a mixture of plant-based materials and polymers creating Kiwi3D PLA filament, making this material more environment-friendly compared to ABS. Lower melting temperatures and lack of warping, PLA filament also retains its colour vibrancy and is a common choice for displays or household prints.
Filament is vacuum sealed in a resealable zip lock bag with a desiccant pack.

This colour is gorgeous. I’m really impressed with the complete silk line up here from kiwi3d, indistinguishable layer lines, absolutely no stringing issues since my first print with my retraction profile which is an absolute pleasure not to have to dial in! It prints flawlessly up to 200mm/s and at the full range of suggested print temps though I find the hotter end produces the deepest colour and silk like effect. Oh and the supports are like nothing to take apart. Great stuff for a great price. Happy printing 🙂
