KiwiFil was established in 2020 and manufactures high quality 3D printing PLA filaments, right here in Auckland, New Zealand. Their all-paper spools, boxes & ziplock barrier bags are also manufactured in New Zealand. Being tree-huggers at heart, they do their best to minimize environmental impact. Their end goal is to produce recycled filament from collected 3D printer waste material.
For every spool of KiwiFil filament you purchase, KiwiFil donate to the rescue of the unique New Zealand birds Kiwi and Kakapo. We also donate to tree planting, and offset the estimated CO2 emissions from the manufacturing and transport through certified programs.
