PLA, or Polylactic Acid, is a commonly used thermoplastic material that does not require the use of a heated print bed. Blending a mixture of plant-based materials and polymers creating Kiwi3D PLA filament, making this material more environment-friendly compared to ABS. Lower melting temperatures and lack of warping, PLA filament also retains its colour vibrancy and is a common choice for displays or household prints.
Filament is vacuum sealed in a resealable zip lock bag with a desiccant pack.

If I were to describe a perfect PLA, Kiwi3D Matte White would be it. This PLA lays down very easily, captures designs with astonishingly good detail, and has become my go to material for finished products. Print at 205c with a bed temperature of 63c and just watch this PLA bring your designs to life with incredible sharpness. The only downside is that my stock of other PLA’s is now going to have to used for prototypes and items that don’t really need to see the light of day.

This PLA is the best in NZ, flawless printing every time. My first ever print was a 24hour household decoration, and it came out perfectly. I put a photo on reddit and I have never been so downvoted in my life because no one would believe that it was my first print. Now if only this item was in stock more often…

Very nice. Exactly what you’d hope for when buying a matte white PLA. Probably gives the least obviously “3d printed” look of any filament I’ve tried, and layer lines are that much harder to see because they’re not shiny at all. Also less prone to stringing than many other PLA filaments. This is now my go-to.

A fantastic filamen. the perfect base for any final finishing. As per the other review, print at 205c/63c for maximum effect and minimal stringing. Looking forward to when this will be back in stock!

Excellent filament, substantially reduced stringing vs regular PLA and layer lines are much less visible. Smallest nozzle I could go with using this filament however was 0.4mm, anything smaller would jam. Overall this is a good go-to for finished designs
